Service Dogs are defined by the American's with Disabilities Act as, "... a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability" (Ada.gov). Service Dogs can help someone in a way that no-one else or no device can and they add a much over looked benefit of companionship. Service Dogs can help with disabilities such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Diabetes, Physical Disabilities, Seizures, other psychiatric disabilities and much more!

Meet Some Service Dogs Trained By Us!
Sugar is a Diabetic Alert Dog who went through our Service Dog Program! Sugar is a Golden Retriever and is just over a year old. She can detect and alert when her owner's blood glucose goes high and low. She also can attract attention to him if he needs help by barking until help arrives and can retrieve items such as juice from a refrigerator or an insulin kit!
Luna is a Diabetic Alert Dog! She is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois. She alerts to changes in blood glucose, retrieves juice from the refrigerator, and retrieves items for her diabetic owner.
Pierre is a Hound Mix, who is about a year old. His owner is training him herself under our guidance! She has done a fantastic job so far and we can't wait to see what this team accomplishes!
